Felton’s Recipe: Quick Swedish Meatballs

Quick Swedish Meatballs

 

Ingredients:

2lbs ground beef

2c soft bread crumbs

2 pkgs of cream cheese

1/4 c dry onion soup mix

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp nutmeg

2 1/2 c milk

2 t flour

Instructions:

Combine first 6 ingredients and 1/2 cup milk. Shape into 40 small meatballs. Brown lightly in a large skillet. Cover, cook for 20-25 minutes or until done. Remove meat, drain off excess fat leaving 1/4 cup.  Blend flour into far, stir in remaining milk all at once.  Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.  Return the meatballs to skillet, cover and cook until heated through.
